Returning to Chengdu

The mountains have been calling me.
I turn to them once more.
I shall leave behind the flatlands
and set my back against the shore.

The mountains have been calling me
to walk with them again.
I need no other companions;
I will be among my friends.

The mountains have been calling me
while years stole swiftly past.
My weary heart lifts up his head:
“We make for home at last!”
